Our commitment to quality ensures that all our coffees are 100% specialty, ethically sourced beans, roasted daily as single origins or blends.

Our journey began with a small, friendly team of passionate coffee lovers dedicated to bringing freshly roasted coffee to your doorstep every day. Founded in East Ham, London, in January 2021, our mission is simple: to share exceptional coffee with everyone!

With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, I’ve always been drawn to this vibrant field. For me, it’s all about creating joy and making people feel valued—not just numbers on a spreadsheet or a 9-to-5 routine.

When the restaurant closures hit in December 2020, I found myself on furlough for the third time since March. Instead of just sitting around, I decided to dive into e-commerce and explore the world of online business. As my wife was working from home during the pandemic, we started consuming more coffee at home. I quickly realized how expensive Nespresso capsules had become and how much I missed my favorite cappuccinos and lattes from our beloved independent coffee shops.

After some thoughtful reflection, I treated myself to a bean-to-cup machine for my birthday and Christmas. However, I was disappointed to discover that most shops offered stale, flavorless coffee beans, while many online sellers were overpriced and underwhelming.

Driven by my passion for coffee, I rolled up my sleeves and did some thorough research on specialty beans and roasting styles. I uncovered the perfect products to launch the website I had envisioned. Everything fell into place—from the name "Rancliffe Coffee House," inspired by our street in East London, to our blends named after cherished local neighborhoods like the East Ham Blend, Central Park Café Blend, Stratford Blend, and Wanstead Blend.

My goal is to help our community feel proud of their roots and enjoy great coffee at home, no matter their preferred grind. I wanted to share my passion with locals and stay connected during these challenging times. The response to our first batch of coffees shared with neighbors was amazing, and I couldn’t be more excited to expand our offerings to coffee lovers across the UK!

At the heart of Rancliffe Coffee House is a commitment to hospitality—making people happy and creating a sense of belonging. Because let’s face it, a great cup of coffee can truly be "the best part of the meal."
