Brewing with the French Press

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Prepare the Cafetière: Place it on a flat surface and pull the plunger up and out.
2. Pre-heat: Pour boiling water into the carafe, swirl, and discard.
3. Add Coffee: Use one rounded teaspoon of ground coffee per cup (about 50g for 3 cups).
4. Pour Water: Add hot water (ideally 92-96ºC) over the coffee grounds, leaving about 2.5cm at the top. Stir gently.
5. Cover: Place the plunger on top and turn the lid to close the pour spout (don’t press down yet).
6. Brew: Let it steep for four minutes.
7. Press: Slowly lower the plunger.
8. Pour & Enjoy: Open the pour spout and serve your delicious cup of coffee!
