Our Indonesia single origin has full body with low acidity, hint of tobacco and spices with herbal and chocolate flavor notes and it is very rich.
Indonesia is one of the largest coffee producers in the world and Sumatra produces some of the most striking and recognisable coffees in the world.
Our coffee is grown near Lake Toba which is the largest volcanic lake in the world.
These coffee beans processed using Giling Basah method and their varieties are Catimor and Typica.
Giling Basah, the traditional Sumatran method of processing coffee, involves hulling the parchment off the bean at roughly 50 percent moisture content, versus the 10 to 12 percent moisture level that's common in most other regions.
This unique method used in production results in a very full body with a concentrated flavor, garnished with herbal nuances and a spicy finish.
These coffee beans are The Grade 1, they are Triple - Picked distinction and hand sorted three times for defects which results in a very consistent cup that includes only perfectly ripe fruit.
All our coffee beans are roasted using traditional techniques and modern technologies to produce consistent, high quality coffees.
